Reforming for G8, including Roger Waters. I said in an earlier post that hell will freeze over before Roger would be up for a reunion. How wrong I was. Great news for British music, but can anyone confirm if this is 100% true? I've read it on the BBC website but I want more clarification.

Yes it is true, it says so on channel 4s teletext music pages on 351, also they are confirmed on the live8 website. How ace. I wonder how long each bands set will be. I entered for tix (only the once).

Having heard this, I entered for tickets straight away. I just hope they get top bill. And a 3 hour set would be nice :o)

Well i hope it gets shown in full on telly and not just highlights as i couldnt get tickets although had i known they were on the line-up i would have gone text crazy!!. I just hope that it is the full band although the Pink Floyd managment website (when i last looked) indicated that it is only Gilmour and Waters? Lets hope it is them all and like you say we then get a proper Tour , i would be in heaven ! Fingers crossed!
