Ford Fiesta Wing Mirror

A lorry driver ran right up the side of my car this morning pulling the wing mirror off, its now left hanging. The only damage done is the plastic part inside that moves it has snapped, could I get another part or will Ford tell me I need a whole new wing mirror? if so how much would this cost?! Also how can I cover up the scratches on the door panel?

the plastic ( joystick type thingy! ) is should only be a couple of quid i wouldnt have thought you would need a whole new cover. We fit just the joy stick things here!

sorry I can see how I've worded that wrong, what I meant was inside the actual wing mirror itself the plastic piece has snapped, just where the spring is fitted! God its so differcult to explain I wish I could just draw a picture!
