MM and KM Links July 2009 [Week 3]

Welcome to this the third week of Link Words set by Queen Julia and I am looking forward to yet another smoothly running MM Links Game. My sincere thanks go to gen2 for covering for me whilst I attended the wedding of my niece in my adopted role of "Father of the Bride". Everything went according to plan and it was a very moving ceremony. The bride's mother was in tears. The groom's mother was in tears. Even the cake was in tiers!

Kay....I am sick of the rain too...pop over here in the morning...the more the merrier!

I have even tidied up...as Christiana...is on a visit to friends in Manchester, and is popping in!!

Now a problem for you to solve. In Sept my eldest daughter is 40 !!!! I can't possibly have a 40 year old but I was a child bride !!!!
Anyway she is having a big party and the theme is "The Beautiful Briny Sea" so I want ideas for a costume, but it's got to be a bit different.(there's bound to be loads of mermaids") I can sew as long as I have plenty of time to get bits together, so thinking caps on !!!

Yes, but I bet loads of men will wear that !!!! I want something as bit different. Pauline has just phoned me but can't tell you her suggestions !!!! I would get thrown off the site!!!
Les, my friend, suggested I go as a clown fish !!!! Pauline you know Les don't you ???

My handicap is trying to hit the ball, but I know what the problem is - I'm standing too close to the ball....after I've hit it!!

Unfortunately the weather doesn't look too good for tomorrow so I think that your efforts may have been in vain
