stomach ulcers

can anyone who has or has these pleaase tell me what are the symptoms, i had one many years ago and now think i have another. thanks

You usually get a burning, gnawing feeling just after eating as if you are still hungry. It may also wake you up at night. There are two types of ulcers, Peptic is a small hole in the gastro tract and Duodenal occurs in the small intestine. I had an infection called Helicobacter Pylori which is the major cause of ulcers .Perhaps you should pop along to you GP for a chat and ask for a test.

Basically....burning and pain made worse by eating..GASTRIC ULCER

Eating food relieves the pain....DUODENAL ULCER.

I had the most horrible stomach pain when I had my first one, was in absolute agony and had a horrible nauseous feeling at the time as well.
