Bournvita - Missing In Action

What with winter settling in, I have scoured the local shops trying to purchase some Bournvita. Not a tub in sight. Horlicks, plenty of. Ovaltine, loads of. But Bournvita seems to have gone underground.

Why? Am I alone in wanting this item on my winter-comfort-food list? Was it withdrawn years ago & I missed it?

I have been lobying Cadbury UK marketing department (based in Ireland) about the fact that they decided to withdraw BOURNVITA from sale in the UK because it was not top of the sales list here. Bournvita marketing in the 50's and 60's created generations of lifelong faithful drinkers and the corporate big brothers can't be bothered to run another campaign to improve sales - they would rather sell CHOCOLATE products preferred by younger generation because they are more profitable. Cadbury say write letters of complaint to HQ and they may review it. Where is the BringBackBournvita petition - I will send it to the marketing people in Ireland. DID YOU KNOW a tub of Bournvita was recently auctioned on EBAY fetching over �12 - that's how desperate we all are!

You can buy Bournvita from Ebay, there is a shop called A British Food Shop they are the only people who now sell it...
