Was reading the threads below regarding crisp flavours and i realised that most people eat walkers. It got me thinking back to when i was young and walkers weren't around as much. What flavours were your favourites then? mine were Tudor Pickled Onion (anyone remember these?, where'd they go?), KP Worcester Sauce, Golden Wonder Salt & Vinegar and Tayto Cheese & Onion.

I liked Golden Wonder salt and vinger too. I cant remember Walkers crisps being around when I was young but I can remember Walkers Snaps, I loved the tomato flavour. They were 2p a pack then went up to 2 and a half pence. I was distraught lol I loved seabrook pickled onion and beefy flavour hmmmm mmmmm

i used to love smiths crisps with a bag of salt in em!!!!

we have got a bagfull in my cupboard now, walkers took them over!! they dont taste the same tho!!

I cant eat crisps hate 'em,BUT if i was to eat a pack it would have to be Golden Wonder,i used to eat them a lot when i was little and they tasted so much better than Walkers,
My favourite in the early 70's were baked bean flavour, I think these were Goldern Wonder.
I must be yunger than the rest of the thread!! My favourite was Walkers Beef and Onion. They still have that flavour but it is a poor copy of the old one.

hey pezza, im only 27!
Up here, the new favourite by a long way is NICOTINE flavour. All the pubs just cannot get enough of them. Unfortunately though, I`ve heard a rumour that they are so successful that they may soon be given a special tax to make up for the loss on pub cigarette sales. Of course us canny Scots are now stock-piling. Also they are so popular that consideration is being given to extending the range to include nico-chicko - nico-s&v - nico-prawn etc. Has anyone any suggestions for a nicotine cocktail flavour?
My favourites in the 70's were Tudor beef barbecue, and pickled onion.I also thought tomato sauce flavour were much nicer than what you get now. Can anyone else remember Betty's vinegar ooh I can taste them now.
I used to love Golden Wonder Sausage and Tomato. Also does anybody remember Hedgehog flaour crisps?
Besides Smith's I used to love Chipmunk Oxo crisps, does any one remember those?
Does anyone remember Puffs? Can't remember who made them but they were 10p a packet and came in 2 flavours, Salted and Salt and Vinegar. I was living in the South of England and never saw them in any shops up North when visiting relatives.
YOu can buy Golden Wonder crisps on Ebay through a shop called A British Food Shop
