Birds eggs ?

I have found three eggs ,all below ground in rubble no signs of any type of nest.They are Jade in colour with no other markings and approx 2 inches in length.I have two options for their presence First option is birds eggs and a rat grabbing them dragging them below ground and having dinner second option is reptile?Any ideas

Can't think of any British bird with jade green eggs. If you mean bright or light blue they could be dunnock or starling eggs.

British reptiles are relatively small. More likely to be a rat or weasel laying down a larder.
