Just picked up the Mail on Sunday to do crossword=A bit late today-see we have to send in just a word-I am furious -enjoyed the quiz in the past-now obviously money making exercise- i expect only people who phone or text will stand a chance-thats me finished doing it

These days, lots of prizedraws have the 3 options to enter.
I should think most of the readers try to complete what they know and not botherto look up the rest of the answers to enter because they think they won't win anyway which is true. Only one can be a winner

I'm not even going to bother.
My daughter worked on similar competitions where there were different entry possibilities. Someone just decides from which entry format the winner is chosen. So if one week they decide to have the winner from the postal entries, all the text entries are wasting their time and money, and vice versa. It is not at all fair.
I may even contact the trading standards people as it seems the competition is unfair on postal entries as they have to have the whole grid completed. I have already expressed my disapproval to the Mail on Sunday. I'll let you know if I get a reply. I won't hold my breath though.
