Hi slaney,

As great players of the Stock Market (you and I), a "Bear Market" is when prices are falling. On the other hand, a "Bull Market" is when prices are rising (which is when I would buy ?).

Ideally, we should buy when the market "bottoms out" and is about to recover (ie rise).

A "Meerkat Market" however is when the investor stands tall and has a look around!!
