Article on the news yesterday

I saw an article on the news yesterday about a mother of 10 or 11 kids who was pregnant again. All of her children have been taken into care and she said that she will carry on getting pregnant until she is allowed to keep one.

Did anyone else see this on the news or did I just imagine it?

what point is she trying to prove? what an awful thing to do to those children.

Her sister says she is sick and she is. Its a shame you can't enforce sterilisation on these people.

neither of them are right in the head, he should get back to work for a start. In one sentence it says he gets carers allowance to look after her and then says he gave up work 17 years ago. so its not as if he gave up a high paid career to look after her.
Its the kids I feel sorry for, are they born from love or just a means to fight the system?

When I read headline I thought what are they doing having pics done then. But they are trying to prove a point. What I dont know, the only point they prove is that they dont give a damm about their kids if they are going to keep having them knowing there is a chance they will have an illness and be taken away.

The social worker will be there in the delivery room to whisk the poor baby away as soon as it pops out.

I used to work for the Dept of Social Welfare here in NZ & I know how they work.

Stupid bloody couple they are. eh?

They should do a c section on her and sterilise her when she is under.
