Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this second week in the reign of Pope Adrian, who was most penitent for the paucity of points bestowed last week to the faithful. Offline he has pledged due care and attention to distributing more of his bounty near and far during this second week of August! Thus far, I am delighted with our new setter, who is not only sharp on the IT front but also does not overwork my (t)rusty abacus.

In any event, this contest will be fought over five weeks and the first week is quite often low scoring. I expect those from the Shrubbery Squad to do much better than last week, when the MM Posting should open tomorrow at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am.

We should not forget the international version of this same game, which is called KM Links and kicks off at an earlier hour, but in this version time is NOT a relevant factor. This game has for several years now been organised all the way from Oz by our very own seekeerz aka Steff ~ the Hostess with the Mostest! You are invited to chance your arm at both Link Games?" They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.

Tonight it's Quiz Night at the local Cricket Club, where I expect many members will still be at nearby Headingley ~ praying for a historic Test Victory over the dreaded Aussies (present company accepted)!

Whatever your pleasure, until we meet up tomorrow, may I wish you "Happy Linking"!

Well...let's try now....
The horrible thought is having to get up early in the morning to post the links, normally I don't rise before 10 a.m. at weekends as I'm usually at my computer until about 3 a.m.
Oh dear twix...you could e-mail me...and I could post them!! :-))
Joking apart...getting upnearly if you want to is one thing...when you have to is another!

I am always up early anyway...I just hate sleeping in.

I love the very light mornings...when the weather is good...getting up about 6.30am and sitting in the garden with a coffee especially on a Sunday Morning when everyone is having a lie in. So quiet and peaceful... apart from the birds...Wonderful.
Weekend lie-ins are my luxury as I normally get up about 7 a.m. Monday to Friday. Although we live in what should be a quiet road, the cars generally start passing about 4.30 in order to miss out the dreaded speed humps in the main road next to ours!
Hmmm... know the feeling twix!

Well the wooden hill for me shortly! With my thinking cap!
Sleep well Pauline and I expect to see your entry nice and early in the morning....good luck. As for me, I'll be slaving over my hot keyboard for a while yet.
Sorry have been tidying up as my house has been reduced in price so I may get viewers this weekend (well I can hope!!)
This still wont stop me from going to Car boots !!!! lol
If everyone is going to bed so will I. I am very tired as last night, well early this morning ,my radio started to play!!!! It is a digital CD/ clock radio cube but I haven't had radio or CD on for weeks. I just use it for the clock. To make matters worse I couldn't switch it off, it wouldn't switch off, so had to get out of bed and unplug it !!!!! Spooky!!!
Kay...I think that you may have a digital CD/Clock/Radio for sale at a boot sale soon!
