The Inuit (meaning The People) speak Inukuit and the word used for sorcerer is angaqquk, which carries the conotation of priest. Another word that, at one time, was used interchangeably was iksiarardjuar. However, the more literal interpretation of this word is actually "the writer" or "the great writer".
It's interesting to note that most all Native American names in their own languages for their respective tribes translates as The People, The Real People or the Human Beings....The inference is that other peoples are not real humans...
