And its a gay hotel they may think I've been stood up. I understand my mates predicament she has just lost her job bless her
sis, dont go. You were unsure about it to begin with.

or see if you can take a friend?

Take the other half and have a naughty weekend away in a hotel? ;0)
i wouldnt worry after several rounds of tequila and sambuka, you'll all be friends anyway. youll probably be so friendly you'll all strip down to your udies and go swimming in the sea and start canoodling, just as the local firebrigade turn up to ...help you out.

i would go. unless the hen is a complete twonk.

logic I have a man cheers :-) ThePlayer everyone knows who they are I email the hen girl. And redcrx would hunt them down and kill them
I went to Brighton alone for a friend's daughter's wedding and altho i spent time with wedding party ( I only knew friend and her husband and offspring ) I had a fab time . Booked into an hotel in Kemptown area run by two very nice lads and met a lot of fab people. Go ....it's what you DON'T do in life you regret not what you do DO.
its a gay hotel ?

can a hotel be sexualised then ?
I would go. Well, I wouldn't go now at my age as noone would want me and I haven't the energy anyway. However, when I was your age I was up for anything new and life was one big adventure. You will be just fine. You will be safe. The world isn't a big, bad place - you only hear the horrible things in the press.

But you are not me and you must make your own mind up!! If you really don't want to go then don't.
i suppose youd have to watch out for seagulls in brighton though. they tend to be full of sh_
I don't know how old you are Lofty but I'm probably a similar age and I have to make myself do things - but I'm usually glad I did. People do still want you there. I have been to loads of places on my own and don't tend to regret it so GO 4get!!

Well I might just go. I was just invited by hen because the bloke she's marrying is my blokes mate and she wanted to get to know me before wedding
Pips, just lets say that I am now retired!! I still do things and still have a sense of adventure but am not particularly agile these days!! A sense of adventure keeps you young in mind though. However, a hen party for a wedding - well no I don't think I would like it, even if they liked me!! I still am up for going places on my own though, if necessary. You have to take chances in life - I have found myself in some rather strange situations - but I certainly have never been bored - well perhaps sometimes!!!
4get. I think you should go especially as the groom is your blokes mate and she particularly wants to meet you. I'll come as a chaperone if you like!!!!
Lofty (sorry, been out!) I'm retired too and not so agile either, lol. The last hen do I went to was abroad and I was the mother of the bride's mate - ha ha it was so funny, the young ones dragged us into a night club and gave us shots - not a pretty sight
