I have managed to put a tear in the cover of my Gazebo, Can anyone tell me the best way to repair it. The material is Polyester Canvas. Perhaps if I could obtain some adhesive tape to repair it may do the trick. Any ideas?

A shop that sells tents etc could possibly help you with this but failing that I would try an adhesive tape which I think I bought at either Wilkinson's or the Pound shop.
It is PROFILINE tape, silver in colour, weatherproof, tear resistant and very strong. It could always be painted to match the gazebo later. B & Q could sell a similar product.
P.S. I would put the tape on the inner and outer sides of the canvas for extra strength.
Your local caravan outlet will have a kit to repair awnings that should do the trick; and you should be able to match the colour.

Many thanks to you both Wak & Madmaggot. I really appreciate your help. As my material is white obviously the silver colour would not be a very good match. After having a few words with a local camping suppier they apparently have some repairing a kit in a clear colour which would seem to do the trick. Once again, many thanks.
