... Fanny Fernackapants?

No - it's not a username on here or an ABer. Just a childhood memory of my mum calling me Miss Fanny Fernackpants when I was being a bit fussy or prissy. Apparently it was a common nickname back in the...err... day. (ok - the 60's).

Is it just me?

And fanny & johnny craddock - well, least said, less insulted. I read her autobiog last year - fascinating stuff.

Crankshaft - round our way we had Fatty Arbuckle, not Fanny Arbuckle - perhaps they were distant cousins?!

Used to call my daughtet Fanny Fernackapants until she begged me not to. She is 24 now . How old ( roughly) are you Salla ?
^^Daughtet ?? ^^ Well she IS the youngest.
Johny Craddock said he hope all our donuts turned out shaped like Fannies !!
Bobbisox - Fanny by Gaslight was a film in 1944. I got called Jane Ann Fernackapan, or however it is spelled.
Anyone remember Jonny Craddock's famous line - I hope all your mince pies taste like Fanny's ?
I thought it was - May all your doughnuts taste like Fanny's.
We had a car once and the registration letters were FNP and we call it Fernackapants.
