I don't understand. Why didn't she just block the person from contacting her. I've done it to a few. Not because of abuse just the fact that I didn't like the person trying to add me. When the kept trying and started sending me messages I blocked them.

pasta in fairness, until you have used FB at length you cannot comment on it, FB is very safe to use, maybe this person never kept much of her profile private. its unfair to blame the platform, like weeal says this place is more worrying with the people you are talking to hidden behind a username.

at least on FB that bully had a face, she was a known person, it couldve been avoided and it was so easy for her to get caught
