Have got 3 courgettes , a head of broccoli, 4 sticks of celery and masses of tomatoes. What ca n I make to eat please. All ideas welcome --thanks in advance.
brenda when I have that kind of thing to work with I will often buy a bag of kp nuts and add them into the risotto, yum. Then you don't need meat/fish .
Thank you all so very much for all the ideas --will def try in the future.I often get stuck with what to make for 1 person and always seem to have loads of bits and pieces. So thanks again B.
If you add a chopped onion and a chicken stock cube you can also make some delicious minestrone soup. The joy of that is that you can chop up and add just about any vegetables you have at the time and it's a meal in itself with some crusty bread. If you make too much don't worry as it always seems to mature and taste better the second day, or it will keep for a couple of days in the fridge.
Wow --nanny jill- thought I was the only hopeless domestic on the planet. Always have things left over and no idea what to do with them. Rather than throw them away I have eaten some very strange combinations.
So thanks again everyone.B.
