Update Re. Trapped Nerve?

Hello both thanks for your advice on friday.
I decided I could wait for a GP appointment - big mistake but I'm scared of being kept in hospital!
GP said it sounded like pleuretic pain (sp?) and that I would need an xray but told me I would be better off going to A&E, because I was born with ventricular septal deformities (most of which were repaired at 20 months).
Went to A&E, had an ECG and blood tests (FBC and something to do with enzymes released after heart attack) all came back normal. I've now been told to take paracetamol (pointless) and go back to GP for further tests and a referal to cardiologist, who I'm seeing in Feb anyway.
Any ideas, where to go from here?

Will try the ibuprofen. I was wondering about it being a pulled muscle but wouldn't it hurt all the time if it were?
I seem to have two separate pains neither of them constant, and also can't breathe in fully, but that is constant and nothing to do with the two areas I have pain.
The hospital said it was probably one of those things which couldn't be explained but would hopefully sort its self out........excellent!!
