anybody know employment law??
Hi, anybody where i stand with this??
my job offer letter (3 years ago) stated i must work 37 hours on a flexible basis. This was agreed between my manager and a director-neither of which are here anymore. My contract stated 40 which hasn't been corrected by the way!
If i have done 37 hours for 3 years (and it does not stipulate about lunch breaks to make up the 40 hours) can my emplyer turn round and say you must now do 40 hours or your 37 hours does not include lunch breaks?? sorry if this sounds confusing. the company has know for 3 years that i have been working for 37 hours. thanks
