Winter tyres

Here in Germany it's not exactly madatory that you fit winter tyres, but if you are in the slightest accident below freezing the law seens stacked against you whether it's your fault or not. My Audi A4 needs re-shodding and I have a set of winter wheels with excellent tyres. What would be the dis advantage, if any, of fitting them for use in the summer period on my best aluminium wheels

1.Loss of traction on smooth tarmac.
2.poor handling at high speed.
3.Road surface noise.
4.stone chips, gravel etc lodged in tread,
5.Probably be worn out by winter, when you really need them.
