Doctor who fans

i never watched Doctor Who until David Tennent came along. I didnt feel a spark before - and he gave the show a spark for me. And now that he's leaving, i dont think i would want to watch it anymore.

Any reason why i should continue watching it?

Exact same with me willowazore - I'm a big david tennant fan -I will try to watch with the new guy but am reserving judgement. I loved the David tennant/catherine Tate partnership

pericat - i totally agree with you. I love the relationship with Catherine Tate and David Tennant. They had a real friendship bond with eachother. None of them found eachother attractive and had other feelings. Both Rose and Martha gad feelings for THE DOCTOR.
It showed us a different relationship - which is exactly what the Doctor needed. A trust worthy friend.

I get the feeling you are a David Tennant fan, not a Doctor Who fan.

I've watched Doctor Who since the late 1960s, so have seen actors come and go in the lead role, but I still love the show.

There are three more specials with David Tennant to come before the end of the year (the next one could be November time), so enjoy him as Doctor Who while you can.

i think we never want the doctor to change and always say it will never be the same - but then we go on to like them just as much.
I remember me and my brother saying we would never ever watch it again, when jon pertwee 'changed'.
We then went on to absolutely love tom baker!

I am slightly surprised by Willow's claim to be a Dr Who fan, despite never having watched it before David Tennant, and not planning to watch it after he leaves. Big Dr Who fan then!!

Tennant has been the best bar none, but Christopher Eccleston had a brilliant screen presence and great storylines.

that said, I'd love to see that mad old bashterd Tom Baker back as the Dr with the current budgets and writers.
