I have had 4 stressful weeks
I need symapthy or empathy here.
My son -aged 24 and a half has just got back from a week in Florida and 2wks in San Fran -he had a blast -the only blast i had was down the toilet when I hadnt heard from him *blush*' He even texted from Heathrow to say he was 'safe' -I am the butt of everyones jokes but its not funny
I had a brief respite of 4 days and then my daughter (aged 20 and a half) has just gone on an 18-30 holiday with her equally mad mate to Bulgaria and she has just phoned to say she is only half p!ssed (result:() and they are going to a beach party then a foam party -yet they only got there at 5 this morning !!
Plus they have met boys and they are Scottish and are next balcony to them and they have doobies.
Should i be worried (or jealous lol) ?

Im worried and jealous -when do you let them go and do their thing without having them having to check in with me and snigger with their mates cos all their mates know what im like.

I never had a girly holiday so i'm jealous of my daughter cos I would love to be there just now and i was jealous of R as i have always wanted to go to San Fran.

Felt just the same when my son went away for his first holiday with the lads! Wont tell you what happened Dris! lol! No, they'll be fine! Dont you remember all that 'we' got up to at their age? Actually, no, dont!!!

What did our mums tell us what til you're in my shoes you'll know what it feels like - I am so not leting my boys go on holiday when I listen to what hubby did on a boys only trip

Right i'll come clean -hadnt heard from my son for a day when he was in San Fran and I seriously sadi to my husband -i wish he had been micro chipped -they do it for cats and ogs so why not humans -what if he's been mugged and lying in a gutter -how would they know who he was?????

I'll have to phone the hotel on the fly to see if he has been spotted coming and going and I was serious.I have confessed as my husband couldnt move for laughing -now they cant believe I want them microchipped !!

My best friend's mum is just like that - she's going off travelling - my friend that is - and her mum said the same about the microchip - best you get together and form a company - lol
