Anti-virus 2009

Somehow this has gotten onto my computer and keeps popping up every 5mins to say I am virus ridden and to pay $49 to install it, I don't want it and can't get rid of it, it won't eliminate and yesterday was on my progs and I disinstalled it and it said it was failed but it disappeared now it's back and driving me crazy. It looks like AVG but it's not, and is in a shield like Windoes security centre but I'm sure it's not that either. Please help me to get rid of it finally. Thank you so much.

This is a real nasty, along with other similar products like SpyWare Defender which does a similar thing.

If you can stil get to the internet download MalwareBytes and install it (see below).

THEN REBOOT.

Then run Malwarebytes Update to get the latest files.

Then RUN Malwarebytes, do the simple scan first then the deep scan.

This may get rid of it.

Had to have computer professionally cleaned - but virus (along with some progs) has disappeared!
