Lost Firefox

I find that I cannot use Firefox, clicking the icon does nothing. I hoped to uninstal it and then reinstall but when I try to uninstall I am told that it must be closed before uninstalling. Being unable to open it I have no idea what to do. I have restarted the computer so am pretty sure that it can\'t be running.
Any help would be appreciated. Heeeelp!!!

yeah firefox does do that on occasion.... no need to re-install it.

right click on a empty part of the task bar at the bottom of the screen and select task manager, then click on the processes tab, look down the list of precesses for any called firefox click on it once and then click end task.

Firefox should now load (BTW just restarting your computer would have fixed it too)

opps just seen you restarted your computer, the task manager part of my answer still stands, but if it won't load after ending the process you may have to uninstall it and re-install it. (you might have to repeat the end task thing if it won't uninstall after trying it)
