Hi anybody advice on a good sandwich maker especially if you can remove the plates to wash them. Another present for someone. Thanks for any answers. I had a Cookworks but bread stuck to it. Really no good. Have gone into Argos site and there are a few I would be interested in but you never know these things until they have been tried. Remember the plates need to be removed. Ta again
I have a panini press which has flat heated plates - I use 'magic carpet' (reusable heat proof cooking 'parchment') which is fully washable and reuseable - the electric machine doesn't get messy and the toasties are wonderful, although you do need to cut them in half as it doesn't 'cut and seal' like a toastie maker does.
thanks little plant - but it is for my sister and she would not go to that length of trouble ie parchment etc. Just wants a good sandwich maker. Hello anybody else got an answer.
