It will accept the server names because these are not checked against anything, your username and password are checked.

The username is normally your full email address and the password would be the one you either choose or had given to you when you setup the account

Thanks for following up my question CF.What the problem was,when I filled in the details for the incomng /outgoing server,One or two details should have been the same and I had filled them in incorrectly.Yet again another senior moment!!!!
