Car Radio Security Code

The previous owner of my Ford Focus had lost the manual that came with the car. Recently I had some work carried out on the car, which necessitated the battery being disconnected. The radio is now asking for a security code to be input, before I can use it again. How do I go about getting this information?

Go to a Ford dealer with the log book and proof of id.

Think it is the last 4 numbers of your VIN Code.

Try e bay there is somebody on there that sends you the code for �2 but I cant think of his username now.

You have to send him the serial number of the radio so you will have to get the special prongs to pull the radio out �1.99 of e bay again and then he gets the code from the serial number and I have done it as well.

Oh sod it its much easier to go to a ford main dealer or even a car accesory shop and they will do it for you for a tenner

it might not have been personally changed so try the obvious pre-set codes like 0000 & 1234... otherwise like someone else said, take it to a dealers with your logbook & they should sort you out.
