teriaki is more japanese than chinese though. what are you cooking as there are lots of marinades for diffrent dishes/meats/veggies
basic for me would be chicken marinaded with soy ginger and garlic and oyster sauce. or if its pork i would marinade in hoi sin or char sui, beef i'd use oyster or black bean,
