Best washer dryer

My Hoover Washer Dryer has gone caput. Can anybody recommend a different brand please?

Also it is hot and cold fill, whereas I understand todays models are cold fill only. My wash.mach.was pushed in with a shoe horn when I had a new kitchen 2 years sgo and the taps are on a different wall under the sink. Do I need to get a plumber to cap the hot supply and if so is it best done before or after the machine is delivered. I am in a hurry to get a new machine. Help please.

I bought a Hotpoint Aqualtis from Currys. It has a washing capacity of 8kg and drying capacity of 6kg. It has worked well and given no problems in the 10 months I have had it. I paid Currys to install it and take away the old machine which was hot and cold fill and they capped the hot water inlet for me. Excellent service.

Thanks for this Anniebird. I have looked on the Curry's website and it doesn't mention capping the hot water inlet. Did you have to ask them specifically to do this?

No the man who did the installation just said that he would do it. You could ask before you buy but it is probably a standard service.
