There is a girl at work that turns up quarter of an hour late everyday and has done for the past year. I;ve said something this morning and have been told she works late sometimes. So!! If I never leave dead on time and if I came in late every morning they'd soon tell me. And if she came in at the proper time she wouldnt have to work late!! Its like they are scared to say anything. I;m mean 5 mins here and there fair enough but quarter hr every day!
And for all you smartarses that are about to say 'hang on you're on here' I come in on time get my work done and dont moan that I havent time in the day to do it all.

Oh I really feel for you 4getmenot. I work with the boss's daughter.
I have 20 days holiday a year- She has whatever she wants (so far 22 days this year)
I make all my appointments outside of work ie doctors, hospital - She makes her appointments in company time.
I have my hair done at weekends - She has hers done in company time.
She works less hours -I work more hours (She did work the same hours as me but decided to now reduce them, without taking a pay cut)
She earns more than me and her Mum! -I don't
She leaves the office as and when she likes for whatever reason - I don't
I work hard - She doesn't.
The boss thinks the sun shines out of her a**e - but not mine.
If anything goes wrong, I get the blame. She doesn't.
The stress this has caused me over the years is profound. It has only been in the last year where I have to accept this as I need a job. I have bills to pay and a mortgage. I have no choice. I do my work, I come home, I try to forget.
It's hard, really hard.

I have had a chat with the Boss/Mum and she knows what her daughter is like. The problem is, I think the Mum is actually scared of her own daughter, when she has confronted her in the past its really lame. The daughter flies of the handle and then Mum just backs down and says nothing.
The company is owned by Mum and Step-Dad. I have also spoken to the step-dad about it, he again knows what she is like but he is in a very awkward position. Doesn't want to upset anybody. I get frustrated because her behaviour has affected the company business to the point of losing them money. And they say nothing! I have come to the conclusion that no end of complaining will make no difference and if they lose the business then that is their fault. The only problem with that is that I lose my job.
