Drive me nuts.

I'm suppose to be looking after my friends daughter this weekend. I phoned her a few days ago to say my phone is broke so ring/text me on gingers phone. Fine....she then asked could I pick her daughter up from nursery as she's going on a lunch date. No problem for me....I told her to contact me on FB with times etc....

I've heard nothing....ziltch. I was going to go to town today but have been waiting here waiting for a response to my messages.

When someone is good enough to take your child for the weekend you make sure you are in contact with them and there is NO excuse, I would feel taken for granted ummmm

Well....funny you should say that. I spoke to her on the phone like I said and she was saying that she didn't have much money for this weekend away....

Although ginger is happy to help out with the childs school trips but refuses to give my friend money....and is trying to demand that I can't give her any either....

I wanted to buy some new jeans today....but can't go into town until I know what's going on :-(

I'm just worried that she's expecting me to pick her daughter up from nursery. I don't know what time she finishes :-(

I'm not doing this anymore.....I looked after her for the weekend about a month ago. Her Mum didn't even ring. I ended up looking after her puppy for an extra 2 days (I have both the child and the dog) when I arranged to bring the dog back she wasn't even in....I had to hang around the street. Luckily the plumber turned up who had a key. She never rang me after to say the dog was ok. Or Thank you...

Because she hasn't got any zzxxee.....makes me feel bad. She said she only has £30 to go on a hen weekend.

sounds like she is totally takeing advantage of your good nature ummmm if you are worried about the child i would call into the nursery and explain the mother has not told you for definate you are collecting her and they need to phone her it will put your mind at ease xx

She's just messaged me...I am picking her up. Apparently her facebook is playing up???

She said she's told the nursery but has forgotten to put clothes in and forgot about the dog....I don't know what's going to happen with him.

At least I won't have to give her money...lol

I don't mean to slag her off....she's the youngest of 4 and her older brother is 20 years older than her...so she's a bit spoilt. Not spoilt in material things.....just is use to having her own way.

If her brothers and sister, Mum and Dad don't give her what she wants she has a hissy fit lol.......
