Yes on Pleasure Island in Disneyworld, Florida when the turnstiles had broken down I was asked to prove that I was over 21, yet they let my 10yr old daughter pass by without anything!! I was rather pleased!!
On the other hand in Eastbourne I got on a tourist bus and asked for a ticket and got a pensioner's one, grrrr!!

Oi vulcan, how very dare you? I was born and (ill)bred in Eastbourne and yes it was known as the Geriatric Riviera which is why I hotfooted it out of there at an early age to live a debauched life elsewhere, byt hey, Eastbourne has caught up now so I visit occasionally when I remember where it is!!!
I went to the optician's last Tuesday & was told the eye tests were £19. It was only when I went back for the actual test & asked the lady if they did concessions for over 60's, that she informed me they were free. When I said I wasn't told that by the last receptionist, she said it was because I didn't look anywhere near 60, let alone two years past it! I was well chuffed! I was also asked for ID when I bought my special concession swimming season ticket last year! The kids thought it was real cool! ;o}
