got the answers back today. can anybody please explain how first nation woman fifty fifty=squall.(I understand the fifty fifty being 2lls, but am still puzzled about the rest. I'll never be able to tackle the next quiz until I understand how the setters mind works!
Thank you chelle. As usual it comes down to how you split up the sentence, and which words go together.Presumably first nation refers to America then.Dont worry about the "w"-answers are as near as possible to how they sound, so letters tend to go missing to fit the sound of the word.
Squaw is a spelling of an eastern Algonquian First nation morpheme, meaning "woman," that appears in numerous Algonquian dialects variously spelled as squa, skwa, esqua, sqeh, skwe, que, kwa, ikwe, etc.
