Can anyone please give me some good tips to consistantly get good photos with an 8M digital camera?I have an Olympus and my results are not very good sometimes over/under exposed or out of focus.I'm obviously getting the settings wrong but I never had this problem with my old Olympus.Thanks!!!!!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Well if the camera is set to "auto" it should choose the right exposure automatically, and focus automatically.
If it is NOT doing that then check you have the camera set to auto focus (it can be set to manual) and the exposure set to auto exposure as well (that can also be set to manual on some cameras).
Of couse the camera may be faulty so maybe get it checked.

If it's only a relatively small amount of over/under exposure then any photo editor will allow you to corrrect this quite readily, but it wont be able to do anything if a photo is out of focus.
VHG is right, check that e.g you're you using it in a mode suitable for the type of pictures that you want to take, and focus is usually set if you hold the shutter button halfway down.
