I was at my desk in work and looked across to a pile of boxes. I needed to check to see if we had enough computer stationery for the months printouts. A woman standing nearby exclaimed "What you looking at?"....I said "What?"...she then said "Shut up and get on with your work" before walking off down the corridor.
Another day, I was working with another guy at our desks. A different woman walked up to us both and said "I hope you're not talking about me!" before walking away.
Has anyone else ever experienced something similar? Have you ever been accused of doing something when you are not actually doing it?
its hardly murder is it?
Anyway, the second woman wasnt really accusing you of anything and the first didnt make any complaint so why are you concerned.
Mr CRX thought Id moved the nappy bin in the nursery yesterday, it was actually one of the kids, not me. There does that answer your question?
Once when about 14, i was working part time after school delivering shopping to people on my bike, and for no reason, some lady called me a juvenile deliquent...........
so i said "it's better than being a silly old bag"..........i was told off, of course, but still kept the job, as they liked me a lot........................who would'nt, eh? :0)
I've got no idea WHY she called me that...............as i think i only dropped her change or forgot something on her shopping list??..............not criminal, is it?........................so what do you do with an old lady that calls you a name you know to be wrong?......................maybe i should'nt have answered her back.................but she got me goat up!
