I have successfully taken my C partition with Norton Ghost version 11. However I can't open it to to get some of the files there. What should I do?

You need to start by explaining what you mean by 'taken my C partition' as this means nothing to me.

Because Ghost performs backups by creating an image of the disk (rather than backing up individual files), you need to use the Ghost Explorer to open the image and select the files you want to restore.
