12:46 BST? Here they're saying 13:42 HFE. Hmmm, 4 mins difference. Please don't say Paris will get it, my fingers are crossed so tight for London.

The only thing causing more division between UK and France, is admittedly nothing minor - it's the media. All they take out of context and fit it into their own context, it's abhorrent. Anyway it's not going to stop so...

Good luck London, none of the infrastructures yet, whereas France had most of them - yes, it's going to cost the Brits, a lot, a lot of money.

I agree Artful but Paris' stadia will all be a bit older by 2012, GB have now got to put their money where their mouth is.

To answer your ? I'm in Grenoble (31/2 hours from Paris by train) but I'd have been in the skiing region - mind you, perhaps that doesn't happen in the summer olympics!
