We have just over 400 Euro's that we did not use on last years holiday abroad. We decided to Holiday in UK this year and may not go abroad again at our age and with it all getting so expensive. Is it a good time to cash them in for sterling now or wait. ?

I can see Sterling getting stronger on change of Government next year. I'd cash in.
Alternativly, the was Osbourne has been talking up the problems he could collapse confidence. The Eurozone recovery could stall and a dozen other things.

If we knew we'd be currency speculators and not on here.

But it's unlikely to be a huge shift in either direction you'd probaly win or lose a few tens of pounds - I'd make the decision on whether you need the money more than anything else
pat....cash it in.

Weak pound, strong euro........go for it.

The €/£ exchange is due to a weak pound, which could get even weaker as UK "flounders" out of the recession.....ME? ...a bird in the hand.................I would cash in my euros.
