I have been to that airport, its huge.

NWA is a really bad airline for US service but starangely their international operations are pretty good.

If you want to be scared though try the NWA flight to Thunder Bay via Messina Airways the local operator. They all fly like flighter jet boys and our pilot was an elegant 40 year old women!

Well I'm not sure what went off, but I heard that they DID drop to sleep, which seems even worse than just nattering doesn't it! Yikes.

Federal officials are investigating whether pilot fatigue might have played a role, but an NTSB spokesman, Keith Holloway, said the idea that the crew may have fallen asleep was "speculative".
surely the cockpit voice recorder could tell the investigators fairly quickly, whether they were talking or asleep ?
