are you concentrating on waist and stomach exercises?
You can't just decide where you lose weight from... The last place I needed to lose weight was my boobs and guess what the first to go on my body was! :-/ Currently I want tops of thights and my stomach to catch up with the rest of my body and rather than lots of cardio I'm using more weights... Changes your body shape and gives you definition and toning which always looks better. Try weights.

If you can afford it, get a personal trainer and tell them your specific goals as well so they can help you achieve them.

i do mainly cardio rower, treadclimber and sit ups dont really know which weights would help
don't you have a plan at the gym? you should have had an induction with a trainer. you're going to need to do plenty of stomach exercises/crunches of differing types, and lots of twisting waist exercises.

ask when you're next at the gym.
Question Author
yes sara i did have an induction but i did say my plan was to lose some weight and get fit, as i was very out of shape, (ex smoker) so i was just shown the cardio machines to start with, will ask though about the weights next time i go.
Weights will change your body shape. If you have a 'body pump' class I recommend it.
