With apologies and great deference to a superb Eddie Izzard line, what about all the ducks (and fish) when the Earth was flooded ?

If you believe the Ryan-Pitman Black Sea deluge theory, the ducks - if they got the chance - probably said a bit more than "so". With ten cubic miles of water pouring through the Bosphorous every day (two hundred times more than Niagara), I think "******" would not be uncalled for!
