add/remove progs

I have several programs that I deleted from my computer but can't delete them from the add/remove progs list in control panel.Any thoughts welcome.

install it, then when you run it click on tools on the left hand side, you can then select the program you want to remove from the list and select "delete entry" on the right to remove the entry.

there are several other ways too, but this is the easiest I can think of quickly.

did you delete or uninstall ? if you just clicked on delete that does not remove the progs you have to go to add/ remove and uninstall the progs you don't require
