whats the expected time or duration of copulation?

i´m curious, because for years and years i thought it was about 15 minutes. as thats all my previous girlfriends wanted. then i met a girl, well in fact a woman 9 years older than me, and the copulation went on for over an hour. It then clicked, unless i really, yes really fancy that woman, then the lovemaking will be mechanical and not last very long. It gets better, i was suicidal some years back over this. thinking i was a freak as i could sustain for more than 15 mins. then recently i met someone who could last for 1 hour and a half. whoopee.
So the question still remains unanswered?
i now know that sex education in school is and i´m sure still is rubbish

Hmmm, it depends! You could bang away for hours and not give pleasure. However it could all be over in ten minutes and be fantastic. Quality not quantity (duration).

And are you including foreplay in that? You can spend hours making love but maybe only a few minutes are the act itself. The important thing is that your partner feels loved and satisfied - not how long you last or how big your willy is, despite what a lot of men may think.
