Are any of you cutting down on buying things this Christmas and if so what are you cutting down on?

Not sending Xmas cards this year for everyone just family. Not having Turkey and Pork just Turkey. Crackers are out. Everyone going round the table is telling a joke instead. Xmas cake out. we can't eat it anyway we're diabetics.No tins of Quality Street for same reason.

All the family have agreed on a limit we spend on presents.

I find the overindulgence sickening. The glut of food advertised when there's others going hungry, just feels wrong. Just having a buffet at mums Christmas day & I'll cook a roast on New years day, otherwise, no extras x

Not many answers so don't know if it's in general that people are cutting back. I've never been one to go over the top and I just hate how commercialised it's all become.
