This it to the people who are using the knowledge of people who love Quizzes. When get a quiz question that I don't know the answer to it gives me pleasure to research it, when I find the answer using the internet, books etc. it is a Eurica shout from me. Therefore when people ask questions and ABers give them the answer, Thanks in advance is not enough. You should post on your own post and in person thank the contributer. Rant over
Caslass, you are so right. I get so dispirited when I have managed to solve something and I look back and there is no acknowledgment and no thanks, and you are left wondering why did I bother. About 75 percent of people dont bother and brings me close to leaving answerbank altogether.
As someone who attempts to answer quiz questions here, I enjoy trying to find the answers particularly answers to cryptic clues (and it saves me having to buy any of the publications). If someone then decides that my contirbution is worthy of thanks then that is a bonus.
Hmmm. You could check a dictionary for a spelling you think you know but don't. I do that all the time for the Colossus answers. It's nothing to do with typing, for which practice is the keyword to becoming a typist.
Also my teachers would say check what you've written for spelling mistakes before you hand it in.
