Royal Command Performance

What did you think of last night's Royal Command Performance?
Personally I thought it was good all round variety, superb lighting effects and backdrops.
Some have said there was too many comedians, the only comment I make is there was too few comedians, in the true sense of the word.
Peter Kay as the compare, at times good especially when he tried to stop Michael Buble from singing another song, but why did he need to read from the cue card in his hand, when introducing the acts?

I recorded it and to be honest, I didn't think it was as good as they used to be and I agree with your comments about Peter reading from cue cards. The only acts I thought were excellent were the Johann Strauss orchestra ( could have watched them all night ) and Michael Buble. I fast forwarded most of it! And what has happened to Chaka Khan, she was awful.
