just ordered a new double bed and ottoman for the kids bedroom, want to paint the bedroom this weekend, but, it is dark pink on the walls and i dont know what the best paint to use to cover that up, would i need to use a dark colour or can i use a light shade ie creamy yellow, and will it cove the darker colour under it. thanks in advance

Just prepare your self to use two coats of. We have found that even using these so called "One Coat " emulsions, we usually end up applying a second coat!

I have found Dulex one coat to be the best though.
I agree with Ummmm. I never use any other paint but dulux.
Dulux....that's what I meant. I sat here for ages thinking about that...lol

Of course not. I kinda knew I'd spelt it wrong. It looked too much like durex...
Painting a primer on first will help as the new emulsion will then sit on the primer and not be absorbed like it would with just emulsion.
