Can anyone answer this for me please.

If the rateable value of a business is £9100 pa is that the amount payable or the amopunt it is worked out from?

No, Cassa, it's the latter (the amount it is worked out from).
Business RVs are quoted as a value in pounds, then the local authority declares a 'rate in the pound' - so say '84.5p in the pound'. Which means one multiplies the RV by 0.845 to work out how much one's business is being shafted for.

One day I think it will be 100p in the pound payable... Just to pay for the credit blunders of this administration perhaps!!!
