Is it an offence to undertake another vehicle who is indicating 'right' using the bus lane?

If you mean you would have to use the bus lane to do so, then yes.

You must not enter the bus lane during the hours of operation.

Just out of interest, Matheous, what makes you think such a move may be permitted? I am genuinely interested, and not having a go at you. I'm always interested when people raise questions to which I think the answer is plainly obvious, to find out how they got their information.

If the bus lane is not in operation then the answer is No.

If you had a puncture,you would stop in the bus lane. It's the same criteria as if you were loading or unloading which you can do unless signs say otherwise.Take your scenario one step further,if there was no bus lane just a general lane would you stop on the pavement to change your tyre.? no, you would stop on the road and traffic would have to manouver around you.

You would first of all try to get the car off the road to avoid obstruction, if you can't do that then park at the kerb side.

In the photo proving you were in the bus lane would be you jacking the car up.

Any appeal would be easy.

two things to consider, hours of operation and colour of the bus lane surface, if it is red then using it even for overtaking is an offence......
