Love In A Cold Climate 1980

Well, I have Googled this until my eyes are crossed,and cannot find a satisfactory result.
Love In A Cold Climate was a 1980 TV mini series based on the book by Nancy Mitford.
It starred (amongst others) Judi Dench.
In 2001 a (very much reduced) new series was made,but it was not a patch on the 1980 one,being over the top and camped off it's @rse.
I am searching for it on DVD,but have still to come across one from a reliable source.
Has anyone got any ideas how I can find a DVD of the 1980 series.
I CAN easily get the 2001 (rubbish) remake,but am not interested in that.

Have you checked the show's message board on IMDb? There's an ongoing discussion there (started in 2005!) re the lack of a DVD.

I've never used them, so can't give a personal recommendation, but http://www.pure-nostalgia.co.uk gets a mention and appears to have a copy...

I have looked at the pure nostalgia UK website and indeed they do have a copy for sale.I am just a bit dubious as it says this:~
"ALL SHOWS PURCHASED WILL BE SUPPLIED ON PLAIN DISCS IN PLASTIC-WALLETS.

ARTWORK IS NOT POSSIBLE AS EACH SHOW HAS NEVER BEEN COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE"

Well, am I being neurotic in thinking that it might be some sort of pirate edition/bad transfer from VHS(if it was on VHS)
Anyway I am going to look at the IMdB forum and see what light that can shed on it.
